"Last year, I began a large series of abstracts and acrylic paint titled Divination by Color: A Psychospiritual Color Experiment, thanks to Kuma, who influenced the series and the Divination title. The fun for me is how people unconsciously chose their color palettes, which surprisingly corresponded at times to specific personal moments and meanings for the friends & family who participated so far. I’ve painted 120 small 8’x8’ abstract paintings. Much like Roreshach and his ink blots connect psychological implications, in addition to the psychological aspect, Divination also connects spirit. The music I listen to, which are the subject’s top 5-10 favorite songs, influences the pieces, movement, strokes, and form."
